5 Mukhi Rudraksha
This is a single rudraksha bead with five natural faces (mukhi) — the lines running top to bottom — strung as a pendant or worn on a thread.
*Returns & replacements apply to genuine product issues only (damaged, wrong or not-as-described items) — not change of mind. Terms & conditions apply; see our Returns & Refund Policy.
Every order includes a certificate of authenticity, a care pouch and a polishing cloth.
In tradition the five-faced bead belongs to Kalagni Rudra, a form of Shiva, and is carried under Jupiter for a steadier, calmer way of moving through the day. It is an everyday bead rather than a rare face count.
For anyone drawn to it — no ritual or belief is required. Wear it as tradition and meaning, or simply as a piece you love.

A genuine bead shows its life on its surface. A few honest, checkable signs:

Five true faces
Count the lines (mukhi) running from the top hole to the bottom. On a real five-faced bead, five continuous grooves run the full length of the seed and divide it into five sections. Lines that fade out halfway, or look scratched in, are a warning.
From a Himalayan grove to your wrist
Every piece in the shop makes this same journey before it reaches you.
Born at altitude
Grown on Elaeocarpus ganitrus in the Himalayan mid-hills, then selected and graded for natural integrity.
Verified, documented
Authenticity is confirmed and the certificate travels in the box with your piece.
Packed with care
Dispatched in tamper-evident packaging with tracking, across India.
Worn against the skin — on the wrist, or as a mala. There is no ritual you must perform; wear it as a daily companion, or as part of your own practice.
Keep it away from prolonged moisture and harsh chemicals. An occasional drop of oil keeps the bead dark and supple; store it in its pouch when not worn.
One seed, 5 faces.
Because it is by far the most common face count found in nature, while one-, three- or higher-faced beads are rarer. We price it as the everyday bead it is. A low price here is honest, not a sign of lesser quality.
Its natural availability makes a genuine five-faced bead easier to source than rarer face counts. In tradition it is associated with calm and wellbeing under Jupiter. We can describe what it is kept for, but we will not promise an outcome.
Yes. Because they are abundant and fairly uniform in nature, five-faced beads are the ones traditionally strung into longer malas for daily wear and japa. A single bead on a thread is just as common.
