In tradition the 7 Mukhi is held under Goddess Mahalakshmi and the planet Saturn, and is kept by those who believe that real abundance is the kind built slowly, on a foundation of steadiness.

Is this for me?

For anyone drawn to it — no ritual or belief is required. Wear it as tradition and meaning, or simply as a piece you love.

Why this one is different
What's often sold
  • Polished, dyed beads with uniform faces and a too-perfect surface
  • Sold with promises of guaranteed wealth, luck, or a cure
  • Face-lines that look painted or carved on rather than grown
The Kavach piece
  • A natural seed with its own grain, pores and small irregularities
  • Described by its tradition only, never sold as a guarantee
  • Seven genuine face-lines running the full length of the bead
How to tell a real 7 Mukhi Rudraksha

A genuine bead is a natural seed, so it shows the marks of having grown. A few honest things you can check.

7 Mukhi Rudraksha

Count the faces

Run your eye down the bead and trace the natural lines (mukhi) from the top hole to the bottom. A 7 Mukhi should have exactly seven of them, and they should look grown into the surface rather than scratched or drawn on.

The journey

From a Himalayan grove to your wrist

Every piece in the shop makes this same journey before it reaches you.

01 — THE SOURCE

Born at altitude

Grown on Elaeocarpus ganitrus in the Himalayan mid-hills, then selected and graded for natural integrity.

02 — THE CHECK

Verified, documented

Authenticity is confirmed and the certificate travels in the box with your piece.

03 — TO YOU

Packed with care

Dispatched in tamper-evident packaging with tracking, across India.

How to wear

Worn against the skin — on the wrist, or as a mala. There is no ritual you must perform; wear it as a daily companion, or as part of your own practice.

Care

Keep it away from prolonged moisture and harsh chemicals. An occasional drop of oil keeps the bead dark and supple; store it in its pouch when not worn.

Questions, answered

The number of natural face-lines (mukhi) defines the variety. The seven faces are why it is called 7 Mukhi, and in tradition this is the form associated with Goddess Mahalakshmi and the planet Saturn, kept for steadiness and abundance. We describe that association as belief, not as a promised result.

Treat it as a natural seed. Keep it dry, wipe it now and then with a soft cloth, and oil it occasionally with a little sandalwood or coconut oil to keep the surface from drying out. Avoid harsh soaps and long soaking, which can dull a natural bead over time.

Yes, and that is normal for a natural bead. With regular wear and the natural oils of the skin, an untreated rudraksha tends to deepen and take on a warmer, lived-in tone over the years. This gradual change is a sign of a real seed, not a flaw.

Yes — a genuine Himalayan rudraksha with natural face-lines, checked and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is never a polished wood or resin imitation.

Carefully packed in tamper-evident packaging and shipped across India with tracking. Free shipping over ₹500.

If there is a genuine problem — the item arrived damaged or broken, is the wrong item, isn't as described, or isn't genuine — you have a 7-day return and replacement window from delivery (terms apply). This window is for a genuine product issue, not a change of mind. See our returns policy for details.

Anyone — there is no age, gender, or belief requirement. It is worn as an everyday companion and a piece of jewellery.

Yes. Rudraksha can be paired with stone bracelets and other beads. You will find the full range across the shop.
